German cavalry and Jäger

The Jäger cyclist company is riding along the pavé TimeCast road. A German higher cavalry command (equivalent to a cavalry corps in size but without the corps command structure) sweeps south across the fields. The cavalry and Jäger had to fill the increasing gap between the German First and Second Armies when von Kluck took his left wing infantry divisions across to hold off Maunoury’s French 6th Army.
